Beulah Creek Village is in the planning stages. BC Housing has agreed to partner with HIHS and has advanced pre-development funding to begin the design process. An architect and civil engineers have been engaged. Next steps include submitting a design proposal to BC Housing for approval, and if that process is successful, we will apply to Islands’ Trust for the necessary development permits. Plans and specifications will be posted here on this website, and we plan to have an open house so that everyone who is interested will have an opportunity to review the plans. The Islands Trust development permit applications will be another avenue for public input and discussion. At this time, the preliminary plans are for 26 units of housing, including studio, one, two, and three bedroom homes.
It is still too early for applications for housing at Beulah Creek Village, but we will certainly let everyone in the community know when that time has arrived!
