Elections are held for directors to the Board of the Hornby Island Housing Society at the Annual General Meeting every year. The term is for two years. The board has a long history of hard work and involvement. We owe the founders and visionaries of the society a great debt of gratitude for all of their achievements.
As the size and scope of the society’s responsibilities continue to grow, we are slowly transitioning from a ‘working’ board to a policy board. We encourage anyone interested in how the board of directors functions to come to our next Annual General Meeting.
